"That arising out of the Directors' decision to re- value the Generating Plant and Distribution System of the Company in accordance with present day costs and values as at 31st December 1950, such valuation having heen adjusted according to the expected life of each individual item of equipment a Capital Reserve Account of the Company of $16,831,861.00 har been created, and. it is now considered desirable to capitalise a sum of $14,000,000.00, being part of such Capital Reserve Account and that accordingly a special capital bonus of $14,000,-cognised. 000.00, free of income tax be declared and that such bonus be applied on behalf of the persons who on the 26th day of September 1951 were holdura of the 2,100,- 000 fully paid-up issued ahares of the Company in pay- ment in full for 1,400,000 new shares of the Company of the nominal value of $10.00 each, and that such 1,400,- 000 new shares credited as fully paid be accordingly allotted to such persons respectively in the proportion of two of auch new shares for every three of the sald issued shares then held by such persons respectively. and that the shares so allotted shall be treated for all purposes as an increase of the nominal amount of the capital of the Company held by each shareholder and not as income, and further that such now sharon shall us from the 1st day of October 1951 rank for dividend and in all other respects PARI PASSU with the already issued shares."
