On Tuesday at 9.10 p.m. listeners will be able to hear a recital broadcast over Radio Hongkong in which he will play works by Bach, Liszt, Ravel, and Debussy. The programme, which includes the 602 TE FOR MUSIC Italian Concerto, is principally interesting for the inclusion of French impressionist music. M. Bader is playing "Jeux d'eau" by Ravel, and "Reflets dans Peau" and "Jardins sous la Pluie" by Debussy.

"It is possible", wrote Mr William Bourne in the year 1587, "to make a ship or boat that may go under water and to the bottom, and to come up again at your pleasure." A far-sighted man, William Bourne, but it was a matter of centuries before the nations of the world added an underwater meapon to the armoury of se warfare.
