Carpenter Charged With Murder Of His Clansman

Indicted on a charge of murder of a clans- man, Sin Kam, a 36-year-old carpenter, appeared on trial before the Chief Justice, Sir Gerard Howe, at the Criminal Sessions this morning. He was accused of the murder of Sin Kam-yau on April 17 last.

It was suggested by the Prosecution that ac cused's act was motivated by his dislike of the de- ceased's association with his younger sister, Sin Sze-mui.
