Mr John Foster Dulles, President Truman's special representative for Japanese peace treaty questions, today refuted the suggestion that the United States was taking a rigid stand on the inclusion of the Chinese Na- tionalist Government among the signatories of a Far East peace treaty.
Speaking at his first press conference since the beginning of his London talks yesterday, he was not bound by any instructions from his. Government on this point.
He hoped that on this, as on other matters, a solution reached which took account of the various opinions of the
