With the advent of Summer, the Whitsun Race Meeting under the auspices of the Hongkong Jockey Club tomorrow afternoon and on Monday will mark the penultimate racing fixture before the recess.
Ten ovants are down for decision tomorrow, with no change in the time of starting, but on Monday there will be 12 races and the first bell will be rung at 11.30 am. with the tiffin interval after the fourth race, and the first boll after Tiffin will be rung at 2.80 p.m.
The most important event tomorrow is the Hongkong Derby for all Aus- tralian Subscription Ponies of 1051 accepted by the Stewards. Only ponies which have been entered for this race will be allowed to start. Weight 147 lbs. Ponies to be ridden by Riders approved by the Stewards. London 17 and Norseman will fight this ruge out.
