The Australian actor, Peter Finch, as the pilot heads 500 MONTAAL an all-Australian cast in this production.

"The Festival Funfair" is the subject of a talk at half-past- by Hugh Casson on Thursday evening eight. Mr Casson has been responsible for the archi- tectural side of the 1951 Exhibition from its begin- nings, but here he will be let loose on the much dis- cussed Fun Fair in the Festival Gardens at Batter- sea Park. The Gardens, which reviva the past glories of the pleasure grounds of Ranelagh, Vaux- hall, and Cremorne in other centuries, cover 21 acros of the Thames bank and boast a Big Dipper, a Victorian music-hall, an amphitheatre «eating 1,000 people, and an unbelievable railway designed by Emett of "Punch” fame, and there are fireworks at

night.
