The United States proposal for an embargo included the following: (1) Arms, ammunition and implements of war; (2) Petroleum; (3) Atomic energy material; (4) Items useful, in the production of arms and ammunition and implements of war.

And these unfortunate tenants, who originally made with their land- lords what they believed to be firm agreements for guaranteed tenancles of some duration, possess no protec- tion under the existing Landlord and Tenancy Ordinance. We can see no reason why this Bill should not have been pro- sented for approval long ago. It is designed solely to prevent malpractices and unjust treatment. It is morally right in concept, while the behaviour -of 'certain landlords renders it. Impera- tive.
