100 Australians May Be Invited HONGKONG SPORTS FESTIVAL PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER
An ambitious scheme for the holding of a Sports Festival in Hongkong during November next, with 100 Australian sportsmen and sportswomen taking part, was announced by Mr J. Skinner at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Amateur Athletic Federation of Hong- kong yesterday.
Mr Skinner, who presided over the meeting assisted by Mr A. de O. Sales and Mr S.'H. Pang, Joint Hon. Secre- tarles, said that the Australian contingent which would be invited here would include cricketers, tennis, hockey, table temis, bedminton and succer players, as well as swim- mers and track und fickt athletes.
