"Rapier" Looks Over Tomorrow's Chances
At The Valley
The Fourth Race Meeting under the auspices of the Hongkong Jockey Club will be a two-day affair, the first day tomorrow and the second on Saturday, April 14.
The first Saddling Bell will be rung at 1.30 pm. cach day with the first race starting at 2 p.m. sharp.
The programme for either day originally consisted of 10 events, but tomorrow Owing to the large number of entries in the "Mount an extra race will be added. Nicholson Handicap," the Stewards decided to have the race spilt in three sections instead of two. The third section will be race No. 11, scheduled to-be run at 7 p.m. There will be no Cash Sweep on this section.
The principal race tomorrow is the Chater Cup, a handicap for Australian Ponies of 1951, winners only.

OUTSIDER WINS THE LINCOLNSHIRE
Barnes Park, a rank outsider, won the mile-long Lincolnshire Handicap on March 31 by half a length from Newton Heath with Streatley two lengths behind.. Barnes Park was priced at 39-1, Newton Heath at 40-1 and Streatley at 66-1.

Two noted South Country trainers have been giving their homes a course of glandular injections. The Injections are given over a period of several weeks.
Results, especially in the case of old geldings, have been, on the whole, markedly successful. Is this "doping"? No one seems to know.
WANTED GOOD-CLASS 3-YEAR-OLDS To win Handicaps -against-French-
Early Impression of the entrics for the spring handicaps is that, with the exception of a few horses of the Peter Flower, Hyper- bole, Saturn or Kelling class, Britain is not particu- Iarly well off for senior, top-class handicap horses.
It is looking rather far ahead to search for material to close up the ranks, but we shall have to find some good three-year- olds to make up the de ficiency before the season is too far advanced.
