The appeal by G. S. Kennedy-Skipton, a former Hongkong Govern- ment servant, against the judgment of Mr Justice Gould, who held that the -statement-of-claim-in-his-original action against the Government revealed no cause of action, should be struck out and that the action should be dismissed, was continued before the Chief Justice, Sir Gerard Howe, at the Supreme Court this morning when the Acting Solicitor General, Mr A. Hooton, concluded his submissions.

Appellant was represented by Mr Charles E. Loseby, KC, and Mr Brook A. Bernacchi, in- structed by Messra C, A. S. Russ and Stewart. Respondent is the Attorney-General. for whom Mr Hooten appeared.
