HERE'S a negligee that re- quires only 3 yd. of fabric to make.

If desired, sleeves may be French-seamed half-way from 1 to 1, and edges from Hm hemmed separately.

Run " elastie in back hems. as at J, making elastic waist on each side of negligee. (It you prefer, stitch 2 rows of elastie thread in the turned edges to Catch this fullness.) control elastic so it will hold securely.
