Jaguars & Braves Win Senior

League Playoffs

By "GRANDSTAND”.

Jaguars nosed out the Saints 3-2 after two extra innings of play while the Braves protected an early two-run lead against the Canadians to chalk up the first shutout game in the Senior Softball League series yesterday.

Glorious weather greeted the flock of fans who turned out to watch the title series which was up to expectations with every minute of the game full of dynamic tension, and followers can look forward to a tight home-stretch series.

After eating humble pic for three consecutive weeks, the Blackhawks staged a tardy return to form when they blanked the Delawares 5-0 in the junior series, while the Dragons cinched the title when their nearest rivals, the Delawares, split a double-header over the week-end,

In the Ladies', Junior League, the White Fangs were eliminated by the Squaws 4-1 in a short Ave-inning moonday game.
