The Junior League Playoff Series
By "GRANDSTAND”
The Blackhawks chalked up their first victory in the playoff series when they nosed out Rexes G-5 on Saturday aided by a first inning splurge of four runs manufactured around a trio of bunched up blows.
Winning pitcher Joey Graca was in rare form and yielded only one hit which was a safe bunt by A. M. Wahab in the initial canto and paved the way for one Rexes' run.

Last night's games were play- ed in bad conditions, there being a greasy pitch and ball and a blustery wind with drizzle in it.
That alone could upset the most carefully laid plans and it is then that the fit, hard player who is up on the ball and can seize any opportunity has the chance of shining.
So that means that the Wits are now out of the tournament and KOSB have two teams in The KOSA "B" seven best in their game the Dnals on Saturday.
