In the last quarter-final programme of the Colony Badminton Championships at Craigen- gower last night, Jock Brown and Billy Soares of. St. Teresa's scored a convincing two-set win over Chung Wah's second-seeded Austin Ho and K. F. Chia in the Men's Junior Doubles, to produce the second major upset of the tourna- ment.

The Chinese pair, who were the runners-up in this event last year, were completely off-colour, failing re- peatedly even in their services.

For the winners, Jock Brown, the well-known foot- baller and softballer, came through with a sparkling all- round display featured by brilliant retrieving shots and powerful and accurate amashes.
