How Many Days in a Week?

-Teddy Bear Was a Little Confused-

By MAX TRELL ̈ TEDDY." said Horld, the shadow-girl with the turn- ed-about name, to Teddy, the Stuffed Bear. "how many days ere there in a week?"

"Well," sald Teddy. looking up at the ceiling, "that's pretty easy, isn't it? Almost everybody knows how many days there are in a week, don't they?"

Hanid nodded. "They certain- ly do, Teddy,"

"How many days in a week... how many days in a week. Hmm, quite a lot, I guess,"

"Teddy" said Hanid severely "I don't think you've studied your lessons at all. I don't think you know how many days there are in a wock!"

Teddy said: "Why?" "Why, what?”

"Why do you have to, know how many days there are in a week? Won't there be the same number even if I don't know?"

Count Them Off

"Come now," gold Hanid frowning. "Let's count them off. Then you'll know. You say the days of the week, and I'll count them as you say them."
