A Coverall Play Smock-To Keep Little
Girls Neat and Tidy
CHILDREN like to dress up-
bul when dressed up, they cio not like to have to foregu play for fear of smiling a good dress.
This smock is perfect when the little lady is ready and waiting xo visiting or waiting for company at home but insists un playing until guests arrive.
Good also for point and putty- dabbing, since it protects and stili coks attractive. Ideal os a gift.
You need, in 36" width fabric -muslin, or plain percale, col- Lon, or broadcloth-two lengths shoulder to hem less 4"; 1⁄4yd. of colourful plaid of check for trimming.
Straighten fabric. Fold in hal lengthwise. A is at half-way point in length. Measure from collar-bone at back neck down over shoulder to wrist for shoulder and sleeve length, then fold fabric so selvage is this same measurement above A. Directly above A is B.
