The tall, bronzed thick-set 38- year-old Westerling arrived in

Belgium four months ago from Singapore after being held in prison by the British authorities pending extradition by the Indonesian Government charges of inciting revolution.

The Belgian authorities grant- ed him temporary asylum which should have expired at midday yesterday.

At the small hotel in Brussels where Westerling and his beautiful Eurasian wife have been living since he came to Belglum, the proprietor, Felix Greening, declared last night:
