Of the current crop, Bertie Guest thinks, only two are up 10 the class of the pre-war best. They are Miss Marjorie : McNeil, Gremlins' contre-half, and Miss Evelyn Collieo, Re- creio's left-back.

Bertie Guest came to Hongkong in 1921 and since that time has been a prominent personality in practically every branch of local sport. He played football for the Kowloon Football Club for at least 10 years.

During that period the KFC were in the Shield Finals for six consecutive years and won both the Shield and Lengue in one year. Of the old KFC players 30th Jan. still in Hongkong today are Jock McKelvie, Fred Clemo, Chris Pile and Joe Eastman, all of whom д name for have since made themselves in Lawn Bowls.

Bertie Guest also later played for St Joseph's and after the war a Class Soccer referee and the President of the Hong- kong Referees' Association.
