A Government-official told the United Press that international conferences on copper, tin, rubber and zinc will probably be called early in the New Year in an effort to assure sufficient sup- plies, for the Atlantic nations.

The interested United States Government agencies are now discussing this subject, while consultations are in progress with Britain.
