The General Assembly's Political Committes reconvened today after a wook- and adjournment to consider the revised draft of the seven-power re- solution' on strongthening the powers of the General Assembly. General debate on the proposal ended last Friday and the 60- nation group began consideration of revisions. In addition to the revised joint text, which includes the Chilean provision for observance of human rights and enforcement of measures for the development of under- developed areas, the Committee has to consider a joint Syrian-Iraqi resolution.
