LOUIS HAYWARD AND PATRICIA MEDINA ... and the guns went "Boom"
Louis Hayward wields

sword
For a good job of crooning, Hollywood is likely to pick Bing Crosby. For a project that requires a forceful emotion, Broderick Crawford is likely to get the nod. And when there's an opening for an A-1 swashbuckler, Louis Hay- ward is an obvious choice.
Hayward, currently performing his feats of derring- do at the Roxy and Broadway in Columbia's "Fortunes of Captain Blood," one of Rafael Sabatini's thrillers, joins a select group of actors who have had a natural fitness for the swashbuckling type of role.
Musical at the Queen's and Alhambra
"Three Little Words,” now showing at the Queen's and Alhambra is not Frod-Astaire's best, but it is far from his worst. In its own way it is intriguing and intørosting, because it contains a wealth of old songs beautifully re-sung. The colour is perfect, and Red Skolton's comedy is moturely comic for a change than merely slap-stick.

Although Hayward enn erchent doublet and hose and a potent sword, he is happiest when h has the opportunity to ply the
