The action brought by Mr. G. S. Konnedy-Skipton, former Hong Kong civil servant, against the Hong Kong Government for alleged arrears of salary and alleged wrongful dismissal, was dismissed by Mr. T. J. Gould, Senior Puisno Judge, yesterday.
The Court upheld the submission of the Crown on a preliminary point of law that the plaintiff has no right to remuneration which can be enforced against the Crown by the Court and that he may look to the bounty of the Crown only.
