Ten new automatic fire alarms - similar to those oracted in the Contral and Eastern Districts -have been installed in the Western District, it was officially announced yesterday. The alarms are in operation.

Technically described as the ATM (Automotic Telephone Mechanism) non-interfering type, the alarms provide the most direct and effec- tive method of calling the Fire Brigade.
