No large-scale shifting of CMSN ships from Colony

The trips to Canton by two tugs of the China Marchants Steamship Navigation Company

did not herold any farge-scale shifting of the Company's steamers from Hong Kong wator. This was officially announced by Mr. Charles

Kiang, Director of General Affairs, Overseas Head Office, of the Communist-controlled shipping organisation, last evening. Deploring the speculation of the movements of the CMSN ships in the Colony, the off- cial spokesman declared that none of the CMSN steamers have left port.
