Today all that railway east of Berlin Is in Russian-controlled hands-oxcept for the last 250 miles from the 38th Parallel to Pusan. If Korca falls, the whole line will be in Russian hands.

Southern Korea is green and lovely; all the rice for the coun- try grows there. In the north beyond the Iron Curtain lie all the sources of hydro-electric power, the coal and some British- owned gold-mines, as well other mineral resources.
