Declaring that defendant held no confidence in him, Mr. J. M. d'Almada Remédios, defence counsel, withdrew from the case in which Lai Kai-hong, alias Franky Lal, Tenancy Tribunal clerk, was charged with corruption, before Mr. James Wicks at Kowloon yesterday.
