Addressing a mass meeting in front of the President's Palace this evening, Pandit. Nohru, Indian Prime Minister, declared: "When aggression and evil threaten us, we cannot submit to. them and have to face them with all our strength.”
Even in doing so, he warned: "We must always remember the basic objectives we have, lest the success we achieve may be superficial only and leod ultimately to some other form of degradation."
Pandit Nehru was speaking on the role of Asia in international affairs, He referred to the achievement, of Indian independence and said: "Almost always nations attained their freedom by a violent revolution but Gandhi showed us another way.
