Demonstrations in suppressing fires by employing
fire-fighting equipment wore conducted by Mr. J. S. Chambers, Overseas Fire Protecting Officer of the British Overseas Airways, for the workshop staff members of the Jardino Aircraft Maintenance Company at Kai Tak yesterday.
Mr. Chambers used four types of fire extinguish- He ers in conducting his demonstrations. also set off small false fires at one side of a runway, beside JAMCO's huge airport work- shop in order to impress his listeners.
