|The liberation of Ching by the Chinese people was praised by His Excellency, Dr. Sirdar K. M. Panikkar, Indian Ambassador to China, in a spooch before a gothoring of more than 170 Indians of the local Indian community 'at the Hong Kong Hotel yesterday afternoon. Dr. Panikkar said that what has taken place in Chino during the past few years is a great event in the Far East. Calling on the Indians to build up a bridge for a clos- er relationship between China and India, Dr. Panikkar snið these two peoples are prepar- ing to play a great role in the development of, the world, and predicted that the relations between the two nations are bound to develop to the bene- fit of both.
