Motorists in the Kowloon shopping district, and re- sidents who drive their cars to the Star Ferry on their way to work in the morn- ings, will be interested to hear about the new automo-. bile service and petrol sta- tion now in operation at the corner of Nathan and Salis- bury roads.

The station has been set up by the Texaco Company for China International Motors (distribu tors of Bulcks, Vauxhalls and Bedford trucks). Mr. Edward Eu, a director of China International Motors, said that it was originally decided to open the station be- cause Kowloon drivers have al- ways had the trouble of bringing their vehicles to Hong Kong for servicing, and this involved great waste of time.

Caltex station is equipped with personnel for the carrying out of all greasings, minor repairs and routine check ing; and its object is to provide Independent service, for Kowloon residents.
