LU HAN AS ACTING YUNNAN GOVERNOR Liu Po-Cheng's Troops To Enter Province

NEW REVOLTS REPORTED

Kunming Radio, monitored in Hong Kong yesterday announced that General Lu Han has been appointed acting Military Governor of Yunnan, which has defected to the Communists.

At the same time the "China Mail" learned that General Lung Yun, a Deputy in the Communist People's Central Government, has receiv- ed fresh instructions to proceed to Peking for consultations. The Communist authorities at Poking have apparently made last-minute changes in their plans to deal with the doubtful loyalty of General Lu Han despite his turning over to them from the Nationalist fold.
