Hamburg, September 28.

Two young American cyclists who crossed into the Soviet Zone were held in underground punish- ment cells for 18 days because one of them broke a door in protest against "insufficient food," one of them said here tonight. They were handed over to the United States authorities this morning at Magdeburg, and were brought to Hamburg by General Hess of the United States Liaison Mission.
