On the 1st of December 1941 Kwan Chi Kin.( III ) and Cheung Kai Um ( E ) of Kai Hang Hong, (F) 6 Mui Fong Street, (2nd floor) were admitted to bail in $11,000 at the Magistracy, Hong Kong, on a charge of illegal possession of codes or cyphers contrary to the Defence Regulations 1940.

The person paying this bail gave the name of Chan Po Shu (POR) but it is believed that this was not the correct name of the person concerned.

Receipts (Audit No. 2909 and Audit No. 2910 dated 1.1241) were duly issued in the name of Chan Po Shu ( E ).

Anyone who can give any in- formation regarding the iden- tity of Chan Fo Shu (RRB) and the whereabouts of Kwan

Chi Kin() and Cheung Kai Um (fre) is requested to send a signed statement of the facts to the Secretariat for Chinese Affairs, Fire Brigade Building before the 15th of October, 1949.
