Four Committees To Consider Remedies

Washington, September 8.

Delegates to the three-power monetary conference went to work behind closed doors today on the British proposal for tariff cuts and other American trade concessions to help solve Britain's dollar crisis.

With the diplomatic formalities disposed of in yesterday's two preliminary sessions, the American, British and Canadian negotiators sat down for their first actual working meeting at 11.04 a.ṁ.
