The war situation in South China developed unfavourably for the Nationalists during the past twenty-four hours. One report said Tayu in South Kiangsi was evacuated by Government troops and Yutu, 30 miles East of Kanchow, was captured by the Reds. People in Shaokwan, a railway town in North Kwangtung are beginning to evacuate.
