First Sessions Of Council of Europe

Strasbourg, August 7. The Foreign Ministers of the 10 founder members of the Council of Europe, starting its historic first session here this week, will tomorrow open the way for a month's discussions over wide field of projects for tightening European unity. They will set their seal on a report to the Council's Consultative Assembly, giving their ideas on the aims and scope of the-Council, and inviting the Assembly, which meets on Wednesday, to submit its ideas on practi- cal projects for discussion.

Projects already mooted for debate in the Assembly range from public works schemes to the question of catublishing o European Court of Human Rights.
