MIDDLE EAST ARMS EMBARGO ATTACKED Bunche Asks Lifting Of All Restrictions OPPOSED BY ISRAEL
Lake Success, August 5.
Directly opposita requests were made to the United Nations', Security Council today on the arms ambargo in the Middle East--Dr. Ralph Bunche, Acting Palestine Mediator, asking for its lifting and Ismel countedog with a demand for its continuance.
Without making specific.mention of the arms embargo Dr., Bunche said that all restrictions, including those on imports, should be lifted. He said that this involves the restoration of normal conditions of peace, to the fullest possible extent.
He said that this involves the elimination of the entire heritage of restrictions
which developed out of the undeclared war.
