|The 1948 turnover of George Wimpey and Com- pany, Limited, international building contrac- tors who are constructing the new Bank of Ching Building in Hong Kong exceeded £20,- 000,000 it was announced at the Compony's annual meeting in London on Wednesday. Godfrey Mitchell, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided at the meeting. In his re- port to the shareholders he said that 1948 had been a busy year for the Company. In the Unit- ed Kingdom alone, work was corried out on at least 500 different sites.
