Dispute Over Sharing Of Shop Premises
A dispute over the use of shop premises shared by two occupants led to the parties bringing thair case before the Puisno Judge, Mr, Jus- tice Williams, yesterday for adjudication. The parties were Leung Sul-po, trading as the Sui Fong Company, and Dewandas Partabrȧi, trading as the King's Silk Store, occupying respectively the East and West portions of No. 78, Queen's Road Central..
Leung Sul-po, who brought the action to Court as plain- tiff, through his counsel Mr. Brook Bernacchi (instructed by Mr. P. H. Sin) sought a declaration that he is the ten- ant of the East portion of the ground floor of No. 78, Queen's Road Central, that he is pro- tected from eviction under the Landlord and Tenant Ordin- ance, and that he is entitled to the said portion together at all times to have free access with his servants, agents, in-num vitees, etc.
Leung also right an injunction fering with the use of the naid restraining Dewandas from inter- portion of the premises by plain. ff; return of these parts of his portion at present on loan to de- fendant, and damages for wrong- ful eviction
