FOR DESPATCH TO THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR TRAINING AS APPRENTICE TRADESMEN OR APPRENTICE CHEFS IN THE ARMY

1. An entrance examina- tion to select boys for entry to Army apprentices schools in the United Kingdom for train- ing as apprentice tradesmen will be held in Hong Kong on June 30, 1949.

2. Candidates must be (a) British subjects of Euro-

pean race.

(c) Between the ages of 14% and 16 years on date of enlistment.
