Tokyo, May 12. The Japan Industrial Council today called for fishery expansion of Japan's authorised grounds toward Ching and the Philippines as a means of meeting the ourrent food deficits. The proposal is contained in the "Three Year Re- construction Plan for the Aquotic Industry" whose goal is a 10 per cent increase in Japanese fisheries production.
