Superintendent Turner of the Marine Police led the procession from Kowloon and took part in the ceremony, assisted by Chief Inspector Gowans and others, In- cluding C Bowels, SI Rose, SI MacKenzie, S1 Stewart, SI Mac- Donald, Mr. Stewart Woods and Mr. May.
A small party of the Marine Police was also in attendance.
The procession started from Tsanshatsui at 8 o'cluck yester- day morning. In the cur on both sides of the casket, containing the ashes of, the dond officer, were Superlatendent Turner and CI Gowan
The party arrived at the Taipo railway pler, where the casket was transferred to Number 3 Inunch, escorted by Number 4 and 5 Customs launches to Port Island.
Arriving at the spot where the murder's were commited last scattered the Friday, SI Rose ashes of the late Inspector RF.C. Sandwich Olivier. Dance which was to have been held on Tuesday, May 10, has been postponed indefinitely.
