Immortal Story Of Antarctic Due Soon
The immortal story of one of the groat opics of human endeavour, "Scoft of the Antarctic,” which comes to the Leo Theatre next wook, is a moving and accurate account of the gal- lant explorer's last expedition and a worthy tribute to the self-sacrificg of him and his companions. John Mills, as Captain Scott, gives a memorable performance, while the rest of the cast is out- standing, having been chosen not only for their acting ability but also for the resem- blance to the people they portray.
There is Derek Bond, who portrays Captain Oates. Harold Warrender, who plays Dr. Wilson, James Robertson Jus- tice, who is PO Evans, and Reginald Beek with, who is east as Bowers.
Th Antarctic expedition is exceptionally well-documented, and this reviewer has found that most of the incidents and dialogue In the film have txe derived from from Scott's diaries first-hand information from sur- vivors of the original exploration
