PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE TO THE LEGISLATORS
Washington, April 12:
President Truman today sent the North Atlantic Treaty to the
Sénate for ratification.
In an accompanying message, President Truman said that the peoples of the North Atlantic community are resolved that their nations should not suffer one by one the same fate as certain nations which had been de- prived of freedom by terror and oppression.
