Lau, Chung Enter Move Afoot Badminton Finals
(By KIMBERLEY)
Most thrilling badminton last night at Club de Recreio was D. C. Lau and W. C. Chung edging out F. H. Tai and W. N. Cheung in two straight sots—15-6, 18-15-to enter the finals of the Junior Men's Doubles.
Patrick Wong and H. P. Lam combined excellent- ly to defeat Ramon Young and Ulian Khoo, and are now fixed to play Robert Tay and Marie Ribeiro in the finals after the latter pair had displaced Bill Gillies and Adi Tam- worth, in an unexpectedly poor exhibition at the semi-finals last night.
Although the score in the first game of the Men's Doubles read 15-0, there was much more of it in the actual game.
