REPORT OF THE AUDITORS TO THE STOUKÈOLDERS, We have obtained all the information and explanations which to the best of our knowledge and boiler were necessary for the purposes of our audi; apart from the returns referred to in Note (4) on the balance sheet. In existing circumstances it, has not been possible to reconcile all outstanding transactions between branches previously occupied by the enemy and the head Office and other branches. In our opinion proper books of account have been kept by the bank so far as appears from cur examination of those books and, with the above-mentioned exception, proper returts adequate for the purposes of our audit have been received from the branches, which have not been visited by us. We have examined the above balance sheet and annexed proft and Has ten unt which are in agreement with the books of tecount and retuma as aforesaid.
