DPW GIVES EVIDENCE Fruitless
ON BEHALF OF MAY
Evidence that May's reputation was one of high
standing, enterprise and initiative, was given
yesterday by the Director of Public Works, Personalia Mr. V. Kenniff, and the Acting Senior Health Officer, Dr. G. Graham-Cumming, who ap peared to testify voluntarily as to the charac- tor of the accused. ·
Mention of May's part in espionage and sabotage activities during the Japanese occupation was also made. Crown Counsel will give his clos- ing address for the Crown to the jury this morning.
