Berlin News Vendors Held

Berlin, March 12. The American zone police today seized 24 news vendors and con- fiscated 1,700 coples of Russian- licensed newspapers.

The raids climaxed the second day of the revived East-West newspaper war in Berlin.

-The vendors were released soon after their arrest and the police made only routine examination of their identification papers.

They will be ordered to appear before à United States Military
