Manila, Märch 3.
The House Committee on Un-Filipino Activities, reporting on a five- month investigation of Communism, today urgently recom- mended the prosecution of Communist Party, members in the Philippines as a step in the solution of peace and order problems. They are the fugitivo Huk- balahap chief, Luis M. Toruc, and the Manilo labour leader, Mariano P. Balgos. It said, however, that at least 89 unnamed persons took the party oath.
