Rhodes, February 24.
Israel and Egypt signed the historic Palestine armistice today and six other Arab states im- mediately joined the movement for perman- ent peace in the strife torn Holy Land.

CPA Dakota Crashes In Fog In City Outskirts
FLIGHT FROM MANILA
Nineteen passengers--all Chinese and including three children and four European crew were killed in an air crash on the island of Hong Kong yesterday.
The plane, a CPA Dakota belonging to the Cathay Pacific Airways, crash-
ed into a rovine on the South West side of Braemer Reservoir, about five miles from the centre of the city.
The crew were Captain J. C. Paish, First Officer A. Campbell, Radio
Operator N. W. F. Moore, and Flight Hostess O. Batley.
